The Office of Visitor Relations serves as the primary source of general information and visiting options for students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and other visitors. Our office operates the university’s general information switchboard, information desk, and a variety of walking, bus and specialized tours of the Ithaca campus. Our talented professional and student staff operate as the “Face of Cornell” as they engage our community and visitors via phone, email and in person.

Our staff showcase life and culture at the university, assessing suitable visit options and referring guests to the appropriate offices for current and relevant information. We proudly partner with on and off campus colleagues to assist on special events, highlight new initiatives, and promote unique messaging needs. Visitor Relations staff strive to create a positive experience while promoting the mission and values of the university.

Cornell Visitor Relations is proud of our vibrant community and welcome and encourage exploration of our campus and all of its hidden, and not so hidden gems. Please visit our office at the Martin Y. Tang Welcome Center, located at 616 Thurston Avenue, Ithaca, NY or call 607-254-4636 Monday through Friday.
