The main responsibility of the Marketing Group is the stewardship of the Cornell University brand.
We define the creative vision for the university and raise brand awareness for a wide variety of key audiences. We develop strategies to support university-wide goals, build marketing programs and lead brand communications across all media.
Our unit is comprised of six creative disciplines: content strategy, writing, design, web development, photography, and video production. We apply these skills in multi-disciplinary project teams to create and manage brand communication platforms that promote major university initiatives. Cornell.edu is a primary example.
Our content marketing approach captures the most compelling stories from across the entire Cornell enterprise and delivers them to the right person, right place, right time; with deep creative expertise, strong impact, and accountability for performance.
